You’re three times more at risk because heredity plays a big part on how you will be as you grow older. And even if the disease doesn’t run in your family, it’s still nice to be vigilant about it. So, don’t take those doctor appointments too lightly. Have checkups done regularly and make sure that you’re thorough about the tests you take. When it comes to any kind of disease, prevention is still better than the cure. Sometimes, you might even take those freckles for granted and blame your fair complexion for it. Go and visit your dermatologist and ask about it because you may be surprised at the many things you find.
Then, look into what you do on a daily basis. Do you often indulge in cigarettes or alcohol? It may be time to realize that moderation is the key to a healthier you. Eat fruits and vegetables, get the vitamins you need, and exercise daily. You’ll see wonderful changes when you do all these. Plus, being proactive means that you will be able to catch something before it’s too late.
